I, Julie Long, have actually made something for my daughter. I have been wanting to make her a tu-tu for a while now and I finally did.
I put in three different colors and I think it turned out rather well. It is a little long but that will take care of itself in time.
I want to start making some other things for her but am not sure how to get started. If anyone has good directions for making a duvet cover I would love to hear about it. I have a dozen different ideas for an amazing girls' bedroom. Also, anyone that can make hair barrettes she could use some of those too. Leslie has really beautiful hair but sometimes it could use some embellishment.

What kind of hair barrettes? Ribbons, flowers, jewels, or just barrettes? I learned a great trick for ribbons and flowers with or without jewels from my friend Amanda! We could get together and make some cute barrettes. As for a duvet cover, I find sometimes it is best just to buy those. I have started sewing and find it very costly. I am sure if you want to make one my friend could help you.
BTW, I am excited that you will be able to show me how to make a tu-tu! Sooo cute.
I want to know about all those kinds of barrettes. Leslie's hair is so wild sometimes and we need a quick solution.
As for the bedding. I have found some cute things online but they just don't come with all the things I want like curtains and a big floor cushion and extra pillows. I know I can make all those things but I need some help getting started. I would really like to talk to your sewing friend and see what she can tell me.
Did you find your camera?
So adorable!
